Porsche Club Malaysia recently hosted the first members’ night at Penang’s QE2 in conjunction with the Raja Muda 2008 Regatta. For the first time a Penang Initiative dedicated to Porsche Owners’ drew a great response exceeding 25 cars, albeit on a weekday, packing and overflowing the entire entrance of Penang Harbours’ infamous QE2 pub and restaurant.

Porsche Club Malaysia (PCM ) held a dinner to welcome their new members on February 21st at the Eastin Hotel.
The dinner was attended by more than one hundred guests, thirty one of whom were new additions to the club. Some new members came from as far as Penang to join in the revelries and were accompanied by Ms. Winnie Chin, the Marketing Executive for Porsche Center Penang (PCP). Apart from accompanying the new members PCP provided welcome gifts and assistance in making the members feel welcome.

Buddy, what time are you all meeting tomorrow?” asked one of the PCM members. “Six fortyfive sharp at the front car park of RSG C”, I replied. Though the drive was scheduled to leave at around seven thirty, I thought it was best that I informed the members we will be leaving at six forty-five sharp anticipating the disregard of timing amongst some of the PCM members, though its only less than a handful!
